Jackson Anderson
Band Technician and Accompanist
Jackson Anderson is a proud graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s Department of Music where he studied piano, horn, voice, and conducting. He spent the first five years of his teaching career at Garber Public Schools as Director of Bands. What was a dying program, grew into a competitive band program consistently earning Superior Ratings at the Middle School and High School levels in both Marching and Concert.
Currently, he is pursuing his Master’s Degree in Music Education (Conducting) at the University of Oklahoma where he will serve as a Graduate Teaching Assistant beginning in Fall of 2024. He is an active clinician and composer, specializing in Wind Band music with publications through C.L. Barnhouse, Co. and Rremboq Music. Jackson is an accomplished pianist and is highly sought after as a collaborative pianist and chamber musician.
Professional affiliations include OkMEA, OBA, TMEA, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, Kappa Kappa Psi, ASCAP, a Friend of the Arts in Sigma Alpha Iota, and the International Percy Grainger Society.
