Seth Boothby began his tenure at Tuttle as Director of Bands in 2009. Before coming to Tuttle, Mr. Boothby served as Director of Bands for Turpin Public Schools for four years, where his bands consistently earned high marks in both concert and marching bands. His current duties at Tuttle include overseeing the entire band program, directing the high school concert band, Pride of Tuttle Marching Band, as well as teaching 6th and 7th grade bands.
Steve Sharp is currently in his first year of teaching at Tuttle Public Schools. He previously taught at Mustang and Oklahoma City Public Schools. He brings over 14 years of music teaching experience to our district, and we are thrilled to have him here!
Mr. Hickman is an experienced band, orchestra, and choir director including church, all levels of public school, and the US Army. He has sung in church choirs and played bass and French Horn in symphony orchestras and bands. He continues today to play bass in the "Talk of the Town" dance band.
Mr. Hickman has been a devoted educator both in music and as an assistant principal for 35 years. He continues his interest in young musicians by teaching private lessons on a variety of instruments. He is grateful to Seth Boothby and the Tuttle Public Schools for giving him the opportunity to privately teach many Tuttle band students.
Alyssa Hannigan is currently serving as the Color Guard Coordinator for the Pride of Tuttle Marching Band. Her duties include writing and teaching the Color Guard routine for the 2013 marching show, as well as advising Mr. Boothby and Mr. Sharp on color guard procedures and equipment.
Alyssa currently attends the University of Oklahoma, where she is a member of the Pride of Oklahoma Color Guard.
